These fittings are called pipe fittings. They are used to connect and control the flow of liquid or gas in a piping system. Pipe fittings come in various shapes and sizes to accommodate different types of pipes and applications. They are essential components in plumbing, heating, and industrial systems. **

Compression fittings work by using a compression nut and a ferrule to create a watertight seal between two pipes or tubing. The ferrule is placed inside the fitting and the nut is tightened, compressing the ferrule against the pipe. This compression creates a secure connection that prevents leaks. Compression fittings are commonly used in plumbing and gas lines due to their ease of installation and reliability. **

Hard tubes and fittings are components used in custom water cooling systems for computers. Hard tubes are rigid, typically made of materials like acrylic or PETG, and are used to connect various components of the cooling system such as the CPU block, GPU block, and radiators. Fittings are the connectors that are used to join the hard tubes together and to the other components of the system. Together, hard tubes and fittings allow for precise and customized routing of the cooling system, providing efficient heat dissipation for high-performance computers. **

Steel fittings can be purchased from a variety of sources, including hardware stores, industrial supply companies, and online retailers. Many hardware stores carry a selection of steel fittings, such as elbows, tees, and couplings, in various sizes and configurations. Industrial supply companies often have a wider range of steel fittings available for purchase, catering to specific industrial and commercial needs. Online retailers also offer a convenient option for purchasing steel fittings, with a wide selection and the ability to compare prices and specifications from different suppliers. **

For fittings, it is best to use a paint that is specifically designed for metal surfaces. Look for a paint that is labeled as suitable for use on metal, such as a metal primer and enamel paint. These types of paints are formulated to adhere well to metal surfaces and provide durable, long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion. Additionally, consider using a spray paint for easy application and a smooth finish on fittings. **

The fittings on a tankless water heater typically include inlet and outlet connections for the water supply, as well as connections for the gas supply for models that are powered by natural gas or propane. There may also be fittings for venting the exhaust gases, as well as electrical connections for models that require electricity to operate. Additionally, some tankless water heaters may have pressure relief valve fittings for safety purposes. **
